Peppermint

Sweet Basil

Dark Opal Basil

Common Thyme

Lavender

Lemon Verbena

Lemon Balm

Winter Savory

Summer Savory

Calamondin Orange

Stinging Nettle

Any suggestions for more plants? I'm in Zone 6.

What am I missing?
You are missing the fact that you cant control it all. Spoiled comes to mind.Irrelevant of that statement you are still in the game of life.Life is a constant series of challenges. How you adapt to these challenges and under what circumstances you do is but a begginging that is vauge at best. The thrill is to navigate with concerne and compassion and finess with a touch of class and fortitude. Your actions do speak louder than terms.Your finess is what will make you rememberable.
Reply:Ditto on the mint, very invasive and spreads everywhere in the yard. Lemon Balm is also very invasive and will take over a garden. Keep them in containers.
Reply:dill,rosemary,parsly
Reply:How about some chives, rosemary, oregano, garlic, fennel, tarragon, purple cone flower (i don't know how to spell ecinatcia), sage. I know I sound as though I am making spaghetti sauce, but they are some of the most common herbs and some are easy to grow.
Reply:try actual foods like tomatos and cucumbers( that way you can use some of your herbs on them ;))
Reply:Just a word of warning about any type of mint in the garden. My personal experience is that it is very invasive. I planted two types of mint in the ground with my herb garden. They got huge. My boss told me that his mint took over the garden. He had to kill them with chemicals to make them go away. I pulled mine out by the roots and I STILL can't get rid of it. It just keeps coming back.

Maybe keep the mint in a container.
